Are you looking for an entry-level Production Artist role? Have you utilized InDesign and feel confident enough within the software to do page layouts/color edits, etc? Are you ready to break into a marketing agency to learn the ropes as a next step in your digital marketing career? Are you open to working a 2 nd shift schedule: 2:30 to 11:00 PM?

A Production Artist at PureRed...

• Builds and manipulates pages/files within InDesign, ensuring quality control as well as timely and efficient production. Image manipulation could include silos, retouching, and simple color correction, but certainly is not limited to these processes
• Ensures the production quality control measures are met prior to the delivery of projects. In post-production, will ensure the product is either print or digital-ready
• Makes client and team edits in several different proof cycles.
• Works closely with the assigned Account Executives and other members of the client team, communicating production progress
• Uses initiative and independent judgment within established procedural guidelines to best complete tasks

Required Skills
Qualifications of the right candidate for this role:

• Proven experience utilizing basic knowledge of InDesign and Adobe suite of products
• Experience with typesetting, creating pages, and creating layouts for print is a MUST. Prefer experience with newspaper or magazine page layouts.
• Is flexible and adaptable with the ability to work under tight deadlines with a keen eye for detail
• Is self-motivated and disciplined enough to effectively work with limited direction
• Willing to learn new techniques and software and implement standard directives according to style guides
• Navigates comfortably within Office 365/Office Suite of products.
• Has completed either high school or has GED.
• Understands the basics of Illustrator (preferred)
• Lives within a commutable distance to our Pittsburgh office
• Willingness to work a 2nd shift
