Position Summary

The Marketing Collateral Manager will be responsible for the creation, upkeep and continuing evolution of firm marketing materials that demonstrate Pillsbury's many strong practices, multi-disciplinary offerings, deep immersion in core industries, and the unique value proposition we present for current and prospective clients. This position is a critical part of the Marketing and Business development team, and will work closely with lawyers, Business Development colleagues, and Digital Marketing colleagues across the firm.

Representative Key Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure all firm marketing collateral is accurate, up to date, consistent and impactful to include, but not limited to, pitch and proposal documents, webpage descriptions, brochures, fact sheets, industry reports, and other business development aids as necessary.
• Develop and implement a systematic, technology-driven approach to auditing and organizing materials enabling availability for use by Firm lawyers, business development professionals, and Firm pitch and proposal generation systems.
• Craft and adapt practice descriptions and related business development collateral to account for attorney additions and departures, developing trends, emerging issues, and evolving Firm business offerings.
• Liaise with stakeholders firmwide to understand client needs, distill practice strengths, and deliver dynamic content that can facilitate new business.
• Develop and implement a content management strategy to audit existing materials to keep them current and surface potential gaps in the firmwide library.
• Leverage Generative AI tools, and other technologies, to establish clear, transparent, and efficient processes for reviewing and updating collateral.
• Regularly review and track the competitor landscape across key practice areas to understand how peer firms go to market and where the Firm's service offerings stand apart.
• Ensure all online Firm content is optimized for search engines to achieve maximum online exposure.
• Work with the Social Media Coordinator to optimize select content for social media channels.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education, Knowledge, and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Five years of experience in a corporate content development role; professional services firm experience preferred.
• Foundational knowledge of digital marketing principles and search engine best practices.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong planning and project management skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage concurrent assignments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to build and maintain collaborative, professional relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to learn new technologies and marketing principles.

Physical Requirements of the Position:

• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
• Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time.
