General Purpose:

Dairy Farmers of America is looking for an experienced IT support/audio-visual technician to join our exciting team. This specific department is responsible for VIP executive meeting support as well as AV, video conferencing, and collaboration technology for the entire organization. The individual in this role will provide best-in-class white glove IT support services for our C-suite located at the Kansas City Headquarters, as well as become a contributing member on the various audio-visual and video conferencing projects that we handle daily.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide white glove support for high profile executive staff and executive assistants
  • Support and maintain AV technology in local conference room and collaboration spaces; routine maintenance, upkeep, repairs
  • Create any and all audio/visual-related documentation
  • Design, develop and update training and knowledge base materials/documentation
  • Receive and respond to incoming tickets, calls, and/or e-mails regarding AV software/hardware problems
  • Troubleshoot and provide solutions for technical failure issues during conferencing and videoconferencing to allow for minimal downtime and continuity of the conference
  • Contribute to global conference room and audio/video projects and workstreams as needed
  • Ensure that all executive and EA technology needs are met daily. This includes their personal computing devices, tablets, mobiles phones or other. Effectively and professionally handle stressful situations
  • Assume ownership of all executive meeting spaces and ensure they are ready to use daily
  • Support business unit executive meetings and any technology associated with them
  • Support critical meetings such as board of director meetings, earnings conference calls, town halls, client and investor meetings. These events may occur onsite or offsite
  • Provide technical support to non-executive end users when not doing executive support
  • Provide meeting support as assigned including mobile devices, computers, and access to resources

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience
  • Undergraduate degree in computer science or related IT discipline (or equivalent combination of experience and education)
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in an IT role providing AV/desktop/technical support to executive (or VIP) staff in a medium to large corporate environment
  • Demonstrated technical skillset in PC & MacBook, IOS, AV, VC and other technologies required to successfully support C-level meetings and business unit activities
  • Fundamental knowledge and troubleshooting skillset in conference room audio/video technology (CTS, CTS-D or CTS-I preferred)
  • Experience working live sound on a modern PA system with wireless mics, monitoring system, video display switching system, etc., preferred
  • Strong experience with Dell and Lenovo laptop hardware
  • Experience with Apple iOS software, iPad and iPhone devices
  • Strong experience with Apple hardware (MacBook Pro & Air) and associated operating systems
  • Strong experience with Windows 10 operating systems
  • Strong experience with Microsoft O365
  • Strong experience of WebEx, Skype, and Teams Collaboration tools
  • Fundamental knowledge of Active Directory, Networking and Telecommunications concepts
  • Strong experience supporting and operating video conferencing endpoints from Cisco
  • Strong electronic and mechanical aptitude for hardware installation and troubleshooting

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
