Deliverables / Tasks Expected:
Conduct onsite wireless testing with devices used in hospital setting, assist lead customer architect to certify code for hospital deployment, assist operation team with Cisco wireless issues that arise from the field, LDoS reviews, provide MOP's to the 16 divisions to support network infrastructure upgrades, network optimization, escalation to BU's as appropriate.

Dedicated onsite support for large enterprise healthcare customer - BCS

Detailed Job requirements:
Must have Skills:

1) Solid understanding of the 9800 Wireless LAN controller
2) Basic understanding of DNAC for Wireless.
3) RF survey skills using Ekahau and or Air Magnet
4) Basic understanding of Wireless authentication via ISE.

Ideal candidate would have managed Wi-Fi environments for hospital customers and has extensive knowledge of Hospital Wi-Fi clients and operations.

Nice to have skills:
1) API Python coding skills
2) ISE profile and authentication configuration and set up.
3) DNAC template creation.

- Provide operational support for complex, network deployments. Perform change windows with pre-built MOPs.
-Solid 9800 skills
- Assist in development of business and technical requirements
- Assist in the development of high-level and low-level design activities
- Assist in the development of network implementation planning
- Assist in configuration and connectivity activities, including test planning and cutover activities

Who You'll Work With:

Other engineers to provide flexible and innovative ways to help meet customer needs.
The Architecture team focusses on Wi-Fi solutions and technologies to help customers plan, build, deploy and migrate networks. You will be on-site with the customer supporting operations activities, change windows, trouble-shooting, Working with TAC to solve problems. Day to day Moves adds and changes.

Skills:

9800 Wi-Fi deployment and operation in a medical environment. Understanding of RF design both predictive as well as on site 'AP on a stick'
.
Additional Technologies : Basic understanding of LAN Switching, Layer 2 troubleshooting
Basic understanding of L3 routing protocols used in enterprise environments (BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP)
Basic Understanding of the ISE product line as it pertains to authentication for Wi-Fi clients
Our desired skills include:
•Requires BS/BE/B.Tech degree or equivalent plus 8+ years of related experience in IT industry
•Certifications Preferred CCIP, CCNA, CCNP ( Plus )
Industry Neutral Certifications also a large plus: CWNE, CWNP
