Job Summary
The Inside Account Executive seeks out and finds new broker, correspondent, bank and credit union customers to educate and train on Flagstar products and technology with the goal of acquiring their mortgage loan production.

The Wholesale Lending Inside Account Executive is responsible for achieving quarterly and annual goals by managing a customer base of broker, correspondent, bank and credit union customers via the telephone and other technologies to acquire their mortgage loan production. This position will build direct relationships with loan brokers and mortgage bankers and will work closely with and leverage the selected channel partners to maximize the revenue opportunities within the account. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy selling, are achievement-oriented and believe in performance rewards for exceeding annual sales goals through strong collaboration with partners and internal stakeholders. Job Responsibilities:

Sales/Business Development: Develops and maintains relationships with mortgage brokers, correspondents, banks and credit unions and advises them on our loan programs, rates and policies. Achieve sales and referral goals by developing a one-of-a-kind customer experience. Proactively seek ways to develop and expand customer relationships in order to achieve departmental and personal goals.

Customer Service: Handles all questions and problems between the customer and the bank. Maintains high-levels customer service standards while looking after the bank's best interest and complying with policies and procedures.

Training & Professional Development: Attend Flagstar required production meetings. Attend/complete all Flagstar and industry required training. Actively participate in opportunities to expand knowledge, influencing and interpersonal skills.

Job Requirements:

• HS Diploma, GED or Foreign Equivalent
  
• 3+ years mortgage lending experience
  
• Previous knowledge of mortgage industry
  
• Prior sales experience in the mortgage industry with knowledge of programs
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
• Exceptional customer service skills and demonstrated sales ability
  
• Competently utilize computer software such as MS Word, MS Excel and email
  
• Demonstrates poise, tact and professionalism
  
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
  
• TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: none
  
• Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Completes all required compliance training. Maintains knowledge of and adhere to Flagstar's internal compliance policies and procedures. Takes responsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies.
