Hiring rate $19.534 - $27.905/hour based upon experience. Additional $3/hour facility differential for hours worked.

Location: 800 Pioneers Blvd. Lincoln, NE 68502

Schedule: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Examples of Work
Manage, motivate and supervise all warehouse operations with a team of 12 individuals. Balance and monitor stock levels by approving requisitions to replace stock. Maintain perpetual inventory and take active role in implementing changes and testing to systems. Oversee training and qualifying on warehouse materiel moving equipment. Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines. Supervise maintenance, and safety of warehouse building and equipment. Work with all NDCS facilities throughout the state to ensure accurate filling of orders while resolving customer service concerns. Acts as liaison between warehouse and customers regarding specific information on products, delivery, inventory, discrepancies, stock availability, and schedules. Monitor truck and delivery schedules to ensure customer needs are met. Oversee reconciliation of shipping and receiving activities on a daily bases. Prepares performance evaluations for warehouse staff.
Qualifications / Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: High school education plus four to six years related work experience, two of which should have been in a supervisory capacity.

PREFERRED: Experience with Inventory Tracking Software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

OTHER: Must have a valid Class B CDL.* Applicants accepting a job offer must pass the following pre-employment exams in this order: medical exam, and at a randomly announced time, pass a drug test. Once at the Staff Training Academy, must successfully complete the fully paid NE Corrections Training Program.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of: warehouse and storage operations; inventory control; office policies and procedures; agency manufacturing and production standards; machinery and building maintenance; basic accounting practices.

Ability to: plan, organize and delegate the work of subordinate staff and legal offenders; communicate effectively both orally and in writing; organize and utilize storage area.
