Job Summary: General warehouse duties to include receiving, packing, and picking.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pull parcel or LTL orders paperwork
- Operate pickers, pallet jacks, and forklifts
- Participate in events and seek to continuously improve work processes
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Adhere to all safety and health standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of warehouse functions
- Ability to count and verify items picked or packed
- Basic knowledge of computers and ability to use them for warehouse functions
- Must demonstrate knowledge of the structure and content of the English language to include the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
- Ability to follow directions
Education and Experience
- Prior experience in warehousing operations preferred, but not required
- Successful completion of forklift License training and certification required upon hire
Working Conditions:
- Warehouse environment
- Must wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) during entire shift
- Mild dust exposure
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift materials up to 70 pounds regularly
- Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination
