Summary of Role: The GlobalFoundries Team in East Fishkill, NY is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Operations Technician to join the Control Center Operations Team. Successful candidates will be self-motivated problem-solvers. They will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment requiring teaming skills with engineers, managers, and production members.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

• Work in a cleanroom environment, wearing cleanroom attire
  
• Day shift position - Mon-Fri, 8hrs
  
• Coin Stack clean operations, physical handling of frames and coin stack boxes, starts/ships
  
• Training on Control Center functions & moving WIP to other locations for processing
  
• Adhere to all processes and procedures for the job function being performed - Set up and operate equipment per Standard Operating Procedures
  
• Work in a team environment to meet production goals
  
• Demonstrate personal learning by achieving certifications.
  

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  
• Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience
  
• Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a) (3)
  
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a SECRET level U.S. Government security clearance and cannot possess dual citizenship
  
• Physical Capacity Demands - Clean Room, Extended Standing and Walking, Repetitive Movements
  
• Must be comfortable with wearing a cleanroom suit, facemask and gloves - Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a periodic basis throughout the shift
  
• Must have basic computer and email skills
  
• Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
  
• Team player
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to receive and follow instructions - Written and verbal communication skills.
