The Volunteer Services Coordinator for Baylor Scott and White Health (BSWH) coordinates and implements defined volunteer programs and activities.
In addition, the Volunteer Services Coordinator for BSWH has the following responsibilities:
· Recruits, orients, and schedules volunteer
· Consults with superiors, administrators and staff to determine organization needs for
various volunteer service
· Coordinates and executes volunteer recruitment activities in support of specified
program objective
· Schedules and facilitates volunteer meetings and provides special instructions and
orientation for volunteer
· Establishes and maintains relationships with community leaders, community-based
organizations, and corporate sponsors to support the volunteer services program
· Serves as liaison between administration, staff, and volunteers. Coordinates quarterly
volunteer recognition
· Maintains a database of volunteers and time logs of volunteer activities in accordance
with all regulatory requirement
· Prepares and provides post-activity evaluation data as appropriate; prepares reports
and maintains files and documentation.

· Knowledge of volunteer programs
· Verbal and written communication skills
· Organizational and presentation skills
· Skills in the use of personal computers and related software applications
· Interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of constituencies
· Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and/or special events
· Ability to establish and maintain effective collaborative relationships
· Ability to prepare and maintain written reports.

QUALIFICATIONS
- EDUCATION - Bachelors or Equivalent Exp
- EXPERIENCE - A minimum of 1 year experience required
