Kenyon College invites applications for two visiting assistant professors in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics for two-year appointments with the possibility of renewal for an additional year, beginning July 2023. A Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field is preferred, but ABD's will be considered. Prior teaching experience at a U.S. college or university is required. Our department has a strong commitment to student-centered learning. Thus, we will be particularly interested in candidates with experience in active learning techniques and using mathematical/statistical technology for instruction. In addition, the ability to teach introductory statistics, introductory programming, or applied mathematics is desirable.
