The U.S. Diagnostics Cross-Portfolio Communications and Platforms Marketing Manager will lead the development, implementation, and measurement of above brand, cross-portfolio communications/content/tactics advancing our U.S. diagnostics priorities. These communications are designed to build the relationship between the Zoetis Diagnostics brand and our customers by establishing Zoetis Diagnostics as a comprehensive, credible, best-in-class Diagnostics provider through relevant, personalized, meaningful content that supports U.S. Diagnostics' full portfolio and long-term growth strategy. This individual will be laser focused on knowing, engaging, and growing the customer via robust market research, data analysis, an understanding of industry trends and customer needs, platforms and communications in an authentic, innovative and impactful way to advance critical cross-portfolio initiatives.

The success of this role is largely dependent upon,

  • Understanding and advocating for the Voice of the Customer while being a champion of the customer's experience with Zoetis Diagnostics and across Zoetis Petcare as we transform customer experience across the portfolio.
  • Understanding the behaviors and insights among key stakeholders on the veterinary healthcare team and leading development of Zoetis Diagnostics messaging aligned with the portfolio positioning and narrative.
  • Understanding the competitive B2B landscape and what competes for our customer's attention leveraging insights to drive development of differentiated Zoetis Diagnostics portfolio communications, programs and platforms through connected ecosystems.
  • Understanding how internal and external key stakeholders intersect with our customers; maximizing opportunities
  • Ability to lead and drive critical cross-portfolio initiatives from conceptualization through execution.
  • Command of the Zoetis Diagnostics Portfolio, including above brand programs, and how it intersects with the Petcare Portfolio
  • Ability to lead and motivate team to deliver key business initiatives and support their development.
  • Ability to work across teams and groups as a true partner, including the ability to synthesize and connect key tactical elements across brand teams and other internal key stakeholders; and connecting the dots between partner functions (within Diagnostics and across Zoetis Petcare)
  • Aptitude with which to make thoughtful decisions in real-time
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and optimization of the customer experience and communication engagement across Diagnostics and Petcare marketing
  • Successful day-to-day partnership with Diagnostics Customer Experience team and Petcare B2B team

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leads the development of content initiatives at each stage in the customer journey to drive business objectives such as: creating awareness of the Zoetis Diagnostics brand, generating leads, building loyalty, and driving cross-sell of products/services. Proactively collaborate with key stakeholders including our marketing team, medical team, creative agencies, corporate communications, sales colleagues, Petcare B2B team, and others. Partner with agencies and marketing team to create, display, distribute and measure best in class copy, video, graphics and interactive content.
  • Manage the day-to-day execution of campaigns with a hands-on history of using email marketing, social media, influencer marketing, digital advertising, SEM, and website. Deliver strong and consistent engagement through digital channels ensuring campaigns are delivered on schedule, are completed within budget, and achieve performance targets. Analyze campaign results and taking proactive steps to modify when needed.
    Facilitate content planning meetings among Diagnostics Marketing team and Petcare B2B team (managing content calendar, content submissions). Work closely with brand marketing teams to amplify strategic product/service-specific initiatives in relevant Petcare B2B communications channels. Work with Marketing Communications to traffic content workflow from concept to publication. Ensure brand, voice and tone consistency, relevancy and ongoing optimization. Maintain and update brand guidelines, digital asset management, and other platforms as needed. Similarly work with Petcare B2C on pet owner communications.
  • Determine KPIs and monitor analytics/performance, while making real-time and long-term optimization improvements by program and channel. Recommend and implement process and technology improvements. Build test-and-learn programs around new topic ideas or content formats
  • Work with agency partners and internal market research team to generate and share insights. Research should include trending topics, keyword research, consumer/market trends, competitive research, etc.
  • Perform art direction, copywriting and editing as required with exceptional grammar skills and the capability to pivot between multiple customer segments/voices.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Mastery of strategic marketing, brand development and growth, and marketing/finance principles
  • Excellent understanding of customer experience principles in a B2B market
  • Brings fresh thinking and ideas to the table and accompanies every problem with a solution; ability to drive ideas through execution
  • Strong presentation/facilitation skills with large and small audiences
  • Strong communications and team-building skills across company functions and levels
  • Strong organizational and project leadership skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of organizational acumen and working in a matrix organization

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS
  • 7-10+ years' experience in marketing with a strong track record of driving effective business and digital strategies. Strong business acumen with ability to think strategically and innovatively.
  • Experience in developing content strategies for broad portfolios of products/services and solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of customer experience principles in B2B environment.
  • Proven ability to develop partnerships and collaborate across functions and business divisions. Experience directing and managing agency relationships.
  • Demonstrated planning and execution skills across multiple projects.
  • Proactive, collaborative, organized, curious, problem solver.
  • Demonstrated blend of creative and analytical talent.
  • Strong presentation/facilitation skills with large and small audiences
  • Strong communications and team-building skills across company functions
  • Strong organizational and project leadership skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of organizational acumen and working in a matrix organization
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field
  • MBA preferred
