Overview

Provide administrative support to multiple underwriters, including monitoring email correspondence, and completing administrative tasks to expedite the underwriting process.

Responsibilities

  1. Insurance binder processing
  2. Inspection ordering
  3. Renewal solicitation
  4. Provide instruction to processing department for new and renewal accounts
  5. Provide instruction to processing department for endorsement requests
  6. Fulfill brokers requests for, loss runs, copies of policies, copies of invoicing, etc.
  7. Agency support of general questions regarding renewal status, endorsement status, cancellation status, billing inquires, commission questions, etc.)
  8. Reconciling and analyzing audits and adjusting coverage as needed
  9. File set up


Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of general office experience required. Insurance industry experience with specialized knowledge of General Liability and Property coverage a plus
  • High School Graduate or GED as minimum education requirements.
  • Proven research and analytical skills to identify, gather and organize information to provide recommendations
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced atmosphere
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and One Note)
  • Ability to learn new software applications
  • Strong Attention to detail
