Overview

The UI/UX designer is responsible for working with key business stakeholders and the web team to create industry leading, innovative, and practical user experiences through research, the analysis of data, business requirements and identification of customer needs.

The UI/UX designer will translate business and customer requirements into customer journey mapping, storyboards, wireframes, and work with our business unit design teams to bring key business stakeholder visions to life.

Additionally, the UI/UX designer will be responsible for documenting and maintaining our digital asset guidelines to support a repeatable and cohesive worldwide brand experience throughout our digital experience.

Base Salary Range 103,000 - 144,000

The above reflects the pay range that QSC reasonably expects to pay for this role. This pay range also depends on various factors such as job duties and requirements, relevant experience and skills and geographic location. In addition to the base salary range, QSC offers a comprehensive package including but not limited to health benefits, 401K or Roth retirement plans, generous time off and profit sharing

Responsibilities

  • As part of the Marketing Operations team and in support of our worldwide Customer Experience (CX) initiative, you will work with our Q-SYS and QSC Pro Audio marketing, partner, and customer engagement teams to support our external websites (qsys.com, qsc.com) along with Salesforce.com communities.
  • Work closely with the CX team to understand and develop our customer journeys, then translate the journey to create the web experience for which we want our customer to have, thus enabling a best-in-class customer experience with the Q-SYS and QSC Pro Audio brands.
  • Collaborate with the brand team to ensure the UI design transfers our brand strength through visual assets and aligns with our product strategy.
  • Through collaboration with the brand team, business unit marketing and design team, ensure the UI/UX is consistent, coherent, and aesthetically pleasing.
  • Additionally, you will work with IT, Corporate Marketing and HR to support our intranet site and internal communications experience for QSC employees.
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions to solve complex problems, and propose creative solutions resulting in best-in-class UX.
  • Create mockups and wireframes. Preferably experienced in Figma or Balsamic.
  • Conduct AB testing and proof of concept research with key stakeholders along with select customers and users.
  • Review feedback from key stakeholders, update concepts and ideas and provide development team build requirements.
  • Document and maintain qsys.com and qsc.com, communities, intranet, and digital marketing assets UI/UX guidelines book (as part of overall brand guidelines) for use worldwide.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years of total experience designing and developing complex, customer-facing, and reactive websites using HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Similar, or experience in lieu of degree accepted.
  • Experience driving and creating customer journey mapping in order to solve complex customer experience challenges through UI/UX development.


  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient with Figma, Balsamic, or similar tools
  • Expert level experience with Adobe platform
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and Marketo a plus
  • Experience with Headless CMS' preferred
