Regional Student Services: The Transfer Student Recruitment Specialist serves a vital role in the success of enrollment management by identifying and engaging prospective students, executing strategies, and managing the achievement of entering student enrollment goals. Reporting to the Associate Director of Admission, Transfer Pathways and Partnerships, the Transfer Student Recruitment Specialist will manage an assigned recruitment territory for Miami University Regionals, the regional system of Miami University, a highly regarded public university with a national reputation.

The Transfer Student Recruitment Specialist will manage assigned recruitment territory to achieve prospect and incoming student goals; initiate and maintain relationships with prospective students, families, community colleges, businesses, and organizations within assigned territory; communicate with and counsel prospective students and families about Miami University Regionals, academic options, financial aid opportunities, admission policies and procedures, student support, student life, and student success stories; develop and perform presentations; coordinate recruitment activities in-person and virtually. Manage progress toward recruitment territory goals through use of research, historical and current admission data, and CRM tools; identify and initiate activity to increase prospective student leads, applications, and conversion rates to achieve goals. Coordinate additional assigned projects as deemed appropriate by Admission Leadership.

Required: Bachelor's degree, experience in student recruiting, advising and/or sales. Position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.

Consideration may be given to candidates with excellent relationship building skills, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and planning skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision, independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated experience developing recruitment campaigns for online learning markets. Demonstrated experience in professional communication and marketing that promotes advancement of diversity and inclusion, in particular service to historically underserved, underrepresented, minority and non-traditional students. Appreciation for working with diverse populations. Ability to lift 30-40 lbs. of recruiting materials. Ability to travel to various locations throughout Ohio and work evenings and weekends as needed. Familiarity with computer systems and various software applications, especially Slate, Microsoft Office, and Google suite.
