Position Summary:

The Training Specialist will be responsible for delivering timely and engaging training content via live webinar and face-to-face training (when applicable) to a global workplace management market. This role will be responsible for:

  1. Designing and expanding training and development programs based on the needs of the organization and its training strategy
  2. Creating and maintaining product-specific training material (i.e. training manuals, Facilitation Guides, Participation Guides, PowerPoint Presentations, Job Aids, video content, and online tutorials).
  3. Assessment of published materials to recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, content, and method of delivery.
  4. Delivering scheduled supporting documentation and training in line with product releases.
  5. Presentation of product training courses as requested by clients or internally.
  6. Creation of online content
  7. Recording and evaluation of training activities.

Essential Functions/Primary Duties:

The Training Specialist has responsibilities within the Training Team in the following areas:
  1. Deliver end-user training with confidence and communicate feedback to the Training Manager, Client Services Manager, and Onboarding PM.
  2. Be available for occasional travel for face-to-face training sessions.
  3. Develop and maintain knowledge of product best practice across each module for assigned products.
  4. Communicate effectively across multiple Product Management teams to clarify product technology and direction, and interpret this in a user-friendly manner.
  5. Adhere to training team standards.
  6. Other duties as directed by Training Manager.

  • Proactively work with Training Manager on goals and initiatives.
  • eLearning with Captivate experience
  • TalentLMS experience

Experience:
  • 2 years minimum experience in a SaaS company (required)
  • 2 years Training Facilitation experience (required)
  • Instructional Design (preferred)

Education:

Bachelor degree with a education, training, business, marketing, communications or technology discipline and/or training certification.
