What You'll Do

We are currently looking for a Territory Sales Specialist. In this role, you will drive sales with a focus on making connections in the sports of Basketball, Football, Volleyball and Soccer. In this role you will be responsible for sales and service of select NFL, NBA, WNBA, G-League, and NCAA programs in your designated territory. You will also work closely with Wilson Territory Managers to develop new relationships with Academies and Clubs to turn these organizations into new accounts.

As this is a remote position you will work independently with the support of the larger team. You will have the opportunity to influence how you go about your day to day, while meeting the goals set for this position. You're passionate about sports - especially basketball or football.

In this role you will:

  • Identify leads, build relationships, sell products, as well as support players, teams, and coaches
  • Create impactful sales and distribution growth within the territory through sales and promotional activations
  • Engage and sell directly to NFL, NBA, WNBA, G-League and NCAA programs
  • Attend local and regional tournaments to develop new business, relationships and leads through high potential travel organizations, clubs, teams, and training facilities
  • Create connections and provide sales coverage with new accounts
  • Share information and learning through utilization of sales tools and systems to support the team's success
  • Increase brand presence and image with athletes and organizational decision makers

What We're Looking For
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and motivated to sell
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Sports Management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Previous basketball or football experience with existing connections to organizations
  • Extensive travel required (mostly same day), when not traveling you will be working from home
  • Must have reliable transportation
