The Territory Manager is a front-facing sales and technical expert responsible for cultivating brand sales and awareness through various in-field activities; classes, events, distribution partner account calls, salon appts and store visits. With an active Cosmetology license and working collaboratively with Corporate Education, the TM recruits, trains and deploys a team of Joico Advisors and Advocates to meet the growing demands of our salon community. TheThe Territory Manager represents Joico in a professional manner, focusing on a high degree of customer service in order to broaden market distribution and sustain profitable sales growth.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Meet established KPI's by developing highly effective education and sales plan for assigned markets
  • Establish and maintain strong professional relations with key accounts, sales consultants and store staff through value-add performance
  • Recruit, cultivate and organize a team of highly talented brand Advocates and Advisors
  • Effectively manage time and resources to ensure target attainment
  • Create and conduct highly engaging sales presentations
  • Market Development: Strategically and pro-actively schedule training programs, educational events, key account classes and in-store demo days to support business objectives and deliver expected growth.
  • Provide in-field sales support in designated high-value and opportunity markets with the objective of gaining depth within current accounts.
  • Recruitment, Development and Management of Advisors: Under direction of DBD and Corporate Education, ensure compliance with experience and technical criteria in selection of Advisors delivering education programs.
  • Coordinate and facilitate Advisor trainings as directed by DBD and Corporate Education.
  • Provide feedback and coaching regarding Advisor skills and competencies.
  • Manage team deployment within assigned budgets.
  • Sales Meetings, Shows & Special Events: Coordinate and facilitate engaging, fun, highly informative Store and DSC meetings, shows, conferences and other events as directed by DBD.
  • Plan, monitor, and evaluate results to ensure resources are being leveraged appropriately within spending limits and are delivering expected sales outcome.
  • Technical Prowess: Lead and/or co-teach (4) classes per month to maintain technical expertise and working knowledge of Joico portfolio. Attend (1) competitive class and/or test new-innovation gaining market traction per qua

YOUR SKILLS

  • High School/GED Equivalent.
  • College preferred, Focus on Marketing or Business
  • Cosmetology License Required
  • 5+ Years Work Experience
  • Minimum 3 Years Industry Experience as an Educator
