UAW Representation Mechanic
The Mechanic - Testing & Analysis is responsible for the design and fabrication of test fixtures to conduct vehicle body closures & structures testing (hood, side door, liftgate, swing gate, etc.), build up and teardown of closures and structures tests. This role is also responsible to retrofit various chassis components on-vehicle for Brakes, Steering and Suspension, perform suspension alignments, Build front and rear cradle modules, wheel/tire assemblies, sub-assembly of front struts and rear shock dampers, Conduct fatigue and ultimate testing. They will monitor tests at regular intervals and adjust tests parameters (controller, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical fixturing) as required. Logging, reporting, and working with test engineers and customers at each phase of the test. Support general operations of the test lab.
