About the Department
The Duchossois Family Institute (DFI) investigates the role of the microbiome in resistance and susceptibility to infectious, inflammatory, and autoimmune diseases. The microbiome consists of complex populations of microbes that can be characterized by DNA and RNA sequencing. Research technical assistants in laboratory are involved in supporting the research goals of the DFI.

Job Summary:
To provide general research laboratory project assistance in the research laboratory of Eric Pamer.
Responsibilities:
- This project focuses on the microbiome and technical assistance needed for relevant ongoing research studies.

Additional Requirements
Education, Experience, or Certifications:Education:- High School diploma or GED required.
Experience:- 1-2 years of experience in the related field required.
Technical Knowledge or Skills:- Intermediate to Advanced skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
