RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Software Engineer in Warren, MI.Summary:This team works on the safety autonomous vehicle research. Everything in that space is what this team works on; planning, mapping, etc. For this project, they will be working on futuristic type of future trying to develop a new software. The Technical Software Engineer is using cameras to develop markings when driving; trying to build a model around a vehicle. This software engineer is going to help develop the software. They will be a part of a team of about 12. Everyone works as a team.Duties Include:- Develop, test, and demonstrate software products for ADAS/AV research projects
- Conduct simulation and report out results
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's degree required; PHD preferred
- 2-4 years of experience required
- A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Large systems software design and development experience
- Experience performing in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy production systems
- Experience in programming and experience with problem diagnosis and resolution
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Python programming skills
- AI/ML tools and framework experience
- C and C++ programming skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
