Job Summary

  • The Critical Care Transport Nurse develops, implements, and evaluates the nursing plan of care and medical plan of care in the pre-hospital and in hospital environment in collaboration with all disciplines.
  • The Critical Care Transport nurse may also provide assistance throughout the hospital as needed, dependent on call volume and completion of other assigned duties.
Qualifications

Education Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Experience
  • Relevant Experience
Certification and Licensure
  • PA Registered Nurse License
  • TNCC/ITLS/PHTLS within 1 year of hire
  • BLS Certification
  • CPR Certification
  • ACLS Certification & PALS Certification
  • Emergency Medical Services Vehicle Operator Certification obtained within 60 days of hire date
  • National Incident Management System (NIMS) 700, 800, 100 & 200 training obtained within 60 days of hire date
  • Hazmat Awareness or higher Training obtained within 60 days of hire date
  • Current Valid Driver's License
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain medical command authorization
