Role Description:

The HR/Talent Acquisition Specialist position is responsible for oversight and delivery of full-spectrum recruiting activities within Ardagh Group - Metal Beverage North America. The HR/Talent Acquisition position facilitates all of the recruiting process from job requisitions through the employee onboarding experience. Additionally, this position will provide HR support of a generalist nature to the HR Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Functional key contributor in the design and execution of the divisional sourcing strategy to identify and attract both passive and active candidates through existing and new resources
  • Remains current on industry conditions, talent acquisition trends & market intelligence
  • Maintains continuous networking and pipelining activities while deploying creative search techniques to source qualified candidates
  • Participates in recruiting events such as local/national career fairs, special events or functions
  • Facilitates full-cycle recruiting process
  • Consults with hiring managers to determine detailed, job specific preferred qualifications
  • Applies detailed understanding of the business needs to the recruiting process better identify candidates and ensure position matching of job skills and qualifications
  • Targets the most qualified candidates and screens resumes to identify potential matches
  • Fosters strong candidate and internal customer relationships
  • Facilitates the candidate/client interview and prepares the candidate for the interview
  • Creates and maintains recruiting calendar
  • Monitors and tracks application status and metrics
  • Evaluates outstanding hiring issues and recommend alternatives to facilitate the hiring process
  • Manages the Affirmative Action process, including Applicant Flow for all posted positions
  • Oversees On-boarding process for exempt and non-exempt new hires and transfer employees
  • Champions HR support projects as assigned
  • Manages the Tuition Reimbursement process
  • Coordinates the annual Personal Development Review process
  • Supports HR Organizational Development initiatives as assigned
  • With HR Manager oversight, provides key HR functional and administrative support for Ardagh Technology Center, including but not limited to Payroll, Benefits, Employee Health and Safety, Leave of Absence process (including Short Term Disability and FMLA)
Requirements:
  • 5 years' experience in Full Cycle Recruiting roles with end to end, high volume experiences a must
  • Minimum 2 years' experience supporting Human Resources function
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing organizations is a plus
  • Demonstrated success in fostering strong candidate and internal customer relationships
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, metrics-driven environment
  • Flexible; team player; self-starter; self-motivated
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task
  • Shows initiative and ability to exercise independent judgment
