SUMMARY

At Amerijet, we are always looking to strengthen our organization by adding the best available talent to our team. We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us source, identify, screen, and hire individuals for various roles in our company.Therefore, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, 2-3 years experience in talent acquisition, proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems, and the ability to devise sourcing strategies for potential applicants. Aviation industry experience is highly desired, but not necessary. This role requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with cross-functional business partners to support people strategies and improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following, but not limited to:

  • Manage the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, onboarding, and administrative components involved in full-cycle recruiting.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to create strategies for identifying and recruiting potential candidates effectively.
  • Provide new and creative ideas for hiring opportunities and efficiencies.
  • Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting strategies for attracting and retaining qualified candidates.
  • Develop and maintain a steady candidate pipeline of qualified passive and active candidates.
  • Aid public relations in branding the company as the “Employer of Choice” among industry talent.
  • Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
  • Create contacts within the industry and maintain regular contact with possible future candidates.


QUALIFICATIONS:



EDUCATION and/or CERTIFICATION:
  • A bachelor’s degree is required from an accredited college or university, or three (3) years equivalent experience.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:



REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Five years of human resources corporate recruiting and interviewing experience.
  • Experience ADP Recruitment software a plus
