JOB SUMMARY - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

To provide practical, professional experience for the college student while contributing to the overall goals of their designated department. The intern will assume a primary role in projects working either independently or as part of a team, as well as perform other activities that will support the over all objectives of the area they are assigned to.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work on projects that will help develop analytical, audit, research, testing and validation skills.
  • Attend and participate in department meetings.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and forms.
  • Use Excel, Word, Project Management, or Visio to create correspondence, spreadsheets, forms, graphs, flowcharts, etc.
  • Provide customer service to the department's internal and external customers.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant quality and regulatory/legal requirements.
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
  • Enrolled in a 2 or 4 year college Level Degree in the related field of study
  • Equivalent work related experience acceptable in lieu of degree Yes X No

  • Proficient in the following computer software applications: Microsoft Office

  • Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance. instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
