What You Will Contribute:
This position will be responsible for driving improvements to the flow of materials, parts, assemblies, and associated information within and between departments. This position will share responsibility for inventory accuracy, inventory flow, on time delivery performance, improving inventory turns and other departmental goals. Major Job Duties/Accountability:

  • Participate in activities within the materials department such as cycle counting, order promising, and/or other duties as assigned.
  • Participate in optimizing material and workflow.
  • Develop and implement plans for targeted inventory reduction​ Apply lean techniques to various continuous improvement activities.​
  • Review and analyze inventory usage to increase effectiveness of material spend.
  • Review and analyze material availability to increase customer on-time delivery.
  • Identify, develop, and implement inventory control and material flow tools.


Work Experience/Requirements:
  • 3+ Years of Experience in a related field
  • Associates degree; Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain or a related field preferred
  • APICS Certification preferred
  • Basic proficiency in MS Word, and Outlook; intermediate proficiency in MS Excel
  • Preferred experience with JobPack, LX and SQL
