Supply Chain Planning & Commercialization Manager (22002700)


The Supply Chain Planning and Commercialization Manager creates the end-to-end project and production plans for new product launches or limited time offerings. This role manages various cross-functional projects that will enable the launch and continuous improvement of the company's new items and help drive the Chipotle's mission to provide sustainable and responsibly farmed food to restaurants. Specific activities include creation of and maintenance of project management roadmaps, deadlines, and milestones. Also includes production scheduling, inventory management at multiple levels, post launch monitoring and any required end of life planning activities.


In addition to following Chipotle's policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with internal cross-functional teams and internal supply chain teams to establish project deliverables, timelines and assigning resources.
  • Creation of production plans, raw material plans, and managing inventory for new items. Monitors performance to make changes to plans
  • Works directly with suppliers to resolve issues, manage inventory, or any required allocations
  • Creating, updating, and presenting project progress reports
  • Monitoring progress and managing workflow both internally and externally ensuring all established project deadlines are met
  • Establishing and maintaining processes to manage scope throughout project lifecycles; identifying, managing, and troubleshooting project issues as they arise
  • Acting as a liaison between cross-functional teams and Supply Chain Teams


  • B.A./B.S. in Business, Technology, Supply Chain, Engineering, Food, or other related fields.
  • 5-8 years of experience in managing creative projects in a supply chain or related environment, and supply planning / inventory management.
  • 3-5 years' experience managing projects for internal teams and external vendors.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a production planning/inventory control environment
  • Proven track record successfully managing large and complex creative projects.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of organization, creative and otherwise.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and Project Management Software
  • Use of Planning, ERP or other relevant supply planning systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service mentality.
  • Extreme attention to detail. Ensure small details are not lost while achieving larger overall objectives.
  • Comfortable working in web-based applications.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
  • Strong drive to stay organized and move swiftly to accomplish tasks and solve problems.
  • Comfortable working with individuals at all organizational levels.
