Strategic Alliance Manager

Slalom East Region is looking for an individual with a consistent record and understanding of driving strategic partnership relationships. Demonstrated dedication to excellence, flexibility, poise, confidence and the ability to work with clients in a professional manner are a requirement.

What you'll be doing:

  • Build strong, trusted relationships within Slalom's strategic partner ecosystem (including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Salesforce, and Tableau)
  • Increase Slalom brand awareness with our top partners through networking, marketing campaigns, partner events, driving consultant accreditation, strategic account planning and more
  • Nurture emerging partner relationships to further Atlanta market growth
  • Build relationships with Slalom's global alliances team to leverage relationships across markets
  • Own operational alliance tasks to ensure all data, systems, and reporting are up to date
  • Owns conference and event strategy (re: Conferences, Summits, etc.), including award submissions, demand generation, networking events and executive meetings
  • Serves as Slalom brand ambassador to identify opportunities to present, sponsor or co-market events
  • Manages Competency program and coordinates partner-enablement for certifications
  • Responsible for pipeline reporting, leveraging partner Network(s).
  • Establishes performance standards, scorecards and data gathering required to evaluate and manage performance of the partnership
  • Identifies opportunities to leverage partner funding and works with local market leaders to apply funds to existing client opportunities
  • Coordinates with Slalom local market personnel, including Regional alliance team, Sales Executives, Capability Leaders & Account Leaders, to meet defined performance, engagement, and revenue growth objectives
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates Partner and Slalom needs on an ongoing basis and works to manage channel conflict
  • Works with the Director of Sales to plan conferences and event strategy, including planning for key personnel attendance, driving local client attendance, speaking and panel events, demand generation, networking events and executive meetings.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Communications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of technology alliance partnership experience (additional marketing or sales experience is welcome)
  • Working experience and knowledge of Partner ecosystem, practice areas, competencies, offerings including selling, pricing, and understanding selling incentives.
  • Experience developing partner programs and support infrastructure with proven success in delivering Go-To-Market strategies and results
  • Expertise in partner/channel pipeline development and management skills with keen attention to detail
  • Passion for crafting and implementing memorable experiences, including events and campaigns that feed client sales and drive partner relationships
  • Consistent record of driving return on investment, customer acquisition, and deep executive engagements through creative marketing programs
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, executing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives.
  • Experience handling contract negotiations with vendors
  • Experience handling budgets and complex schedules
  • Ability to set priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
  • Team player with strong work ethic and the willingness and ability to adapt in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Flexible in adapting to differing working styles, understanding what motivates partner sellers and how to align Slalom selling efforts to partner pursuits.
  • Strong executive presence, ability to manage up and experience presenting at the executive level
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to persuasively articulate Slalom's value as a partner.
