Job Responsibilities

Pennoni is currently seeking a Staff Highway Engineer for our office in Newark, DE or Baltimore, MD to perform the following, but not limited to:

• Providing guidance and mentoring to engineers and technical staff with the use of MicroStation Connect, OpenRoads Designer (ORD) and ProjectWise (PW)
• Utility Design, water and sanitary sewer utility layout and lighting design
• Developing Maintenance of Traffic schemes, Construction Phasing and Traffic Control Plans
• Developing project cost estimates and specifications, including Special Provisions
• Managing projects/tasks of various sizes for a variety of clients
• Coordinating highway design tasks with survey, traffic, water resources and bridge staff on transportation improvement projects
