Position: Staff Product Manager

Job Location: 10500 NE 8th Street, 13th Floor, Bellevue, WA 98004

Duties: Manage and develop artificial intelligence-based products for Walmart Connect. Create requirement documents. Plan tests, quality checks, and product strategy documents to ensure the successful launch of products. Develop technical product specifications for the architecture of underlying advertising platform components (such as smart bidding, relevance, ranking, auction etc.) by using artifacts such as systems flows, machine learning designs, product requirement documents, and logical data models. Work with multiple stakeholders from Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, Sales, Legal to ensure the execution of product from inception to launch. Design Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems for the Sponsored Products features and products. Build out the automated advertiser bidding strategy component for the Sponsored Products division. Define the product roadmap for the auction optimization products. This position does not supervise employees.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), Management (any), or related field and 2 years of product management experience; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), Management (any), or related field and 5 years of product management experience.

Skills required: Experience developing technical product specifications for the architecture of underlying platform components. Experience developing Machine Learning products. Experience working with product managers to understand requirements for machine learning related projects. Experience designing and creating systems flows, product requirement documents, and logical data models. Experience analyzing and defining product requirements in Confluence. Experience developing a product strategy and roadmap for a specific platform product area in support of an architectural vision. Experience using user stories with prioritized features in Atlassian Jira and ensuring the delivery of software features on time. Experience building statistical testing plans for data science models. Experience defining product roadmaps, aligning business and technical needs, and analyzing customer and product data. Experience supporting product implementation and deployment by engaging with Platform Engineering and Scrum Masters during implementations to answer questions and make scope trade off decisions. Experience managing multiple machine learning projects for multiple products. Experience driving the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, developing and communicating business plans and priorities, and removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance. Experience ensuring business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans. Experience creating machine learning algorithms and supporting the design process from a product perspective. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $182,312/year to $264,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
