We continue to build our Accounting dream team, and are on the hunt for a motivated, meticulous, and passionate Corporate Accountant to play a key role in the Finance Department. The mission of the Corporate Accountant will be to assist in the monthly close process and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

*What You'll be doing* 



* Participate in month-end close processes, such as preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations (Bank reconciliation, prepaid, fixed assets, etc…)

* Assist with the monthly fluctuation analyses for the balance sheet, P&L, and other financial statements

* Partner with other departments to understand and support business processes, ensure proper accounting, and resolve reconciling differences

* Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and assist with special projects as needed

* Prepare supporting documentation for quarterly reviews, annual audit

* Continuously seek ways to optimize existing accounting and business processes through use of automation, thoughtful analysis, and researching best practices in the industry

* Investigate reporting discrepancies and communicate issues as they occur in a timely manner


 

*What We're Looking For:*



* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant major preferred




* 1-2 years of experience in finance/accounting-related positions

* Proficient knowledge of general accounting principles and excel 

* Strong analytical mind and an eye for detail

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* High motivation and hunger to learn; positive, collaborative and team-oriented attitude 




* Ability to be flexible and comfortable with changing requirements

* Enjoys working collaboratively on a team while exhibiting strong sense of ownership

* Proactive approach - don't wait to be told, go and do!
