The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the daily and monthly close process to ensure timely and accurate financial results. Areas of focus will include working with the Financial Reporting and Consolidations team to ensure accurate financial reporting and disclosures, as well as assisting the Manager of Revenue to ensure accurate reporting of all gross-to-net items. The job is part of the Financial Reporting & Consolidations Group and works collaboratively and cross-functionally to drive accurate financial results and is a key player within the Finance organization.

Ways you will make a difference

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for the following:
• Assisting with gross-to-net reporting requirements, which includes trade accruals, reserves and open deductions
• Accurate recording of expenses within the proper reporting period
• Meeting with teams cross-functionally on a regular basis to gain an understanding of spend
• Analysis of profit center allocations
• Prepare daily and monthly journal entries
• Preparing monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
• Communicating any accounting issues to manager
• Support ad hoc projects and requests from key stakeholders
• Working through the monthly close process and the monthly close schedule
• Assist with annual audit and quarterly review activities of external auditors
• Continually assess procedures and propose process enhancements and improvements
• Ensures adherence to all company policies and procedures
• Understands and demonstrates the Company's core values
• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills that will make you successful

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years' experience
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize accordingly

• Experience in SAP and HFM preferred
• High attention to detail while being able to work on several areas and projects
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity
• Accustomed to working in a team and collaborating with all levels within the organization
