Staff Accountant

Our client, a hotel management company, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team! This role will be onsite in Brockton, MA. The Staff Accountant will oversee accounts payable responsibilities across multiple locations. Additional responsibilities include:

• Supporting duties related to both AP and AR functions
• Weekly banking/posting
• Assisting with the preparation of financial and statistical statements and reports
• Analyzing financial information
• Research and resolve discrepancies
• Participate in quarterly and annual audits
• Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance or similar field is preferred (an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience can be substituted)
• 1+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Microsoft Office applications experience, including Excel
