Ledgent Finance and Accounting has an immediate opening for a Sr. Staff Accountant in Billerica, MA. The ideal candidate will have solid ERP and Excel skills and 3-4 of relevant experience.

Role: Sr. Staff Accountant (Direct Hire)

Location: Billerica, MA (Hybrid After Training)

Pay: $80,000-$90,000

Premise: As a Sr. Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for the detail-oriented support of various aspects of the financial cycle and accounting management of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, fixed assets, accruals and prepaid expenses.
• Perform AP affiliate function.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather and analyze financial information
• Maintain general ledger accounting functions (prepare asset, liability and capital account entries, maintain files and records by documenting all financial transactions)
• Process expense report for employee reimbursement and company credit card.
• Record monthly revenues, perform monthly reconciliations, prepare review and analyze monthly financial statements.
• Summarize current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting (preferred)
• 3-4 years of experience in GL Accounting
• Strong Microsoft Excel skill with ability to generate Pivot, Chart, or Vlookup.
• ERP experience (SAP preferred)
• Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, interpret results, and make recommendations with respect to accounting treatment.
• Effective communication skill, both verbal and written.
