GENERAL FUNCTION:

• Provide support for the acquisition, development, and sustainment of weapon systems, sub-systems, and support equipment
• Lend technical assistance on transformational systems approaches, interoperability, and Joint U.S., multiagency, and multinational program-level and integrated net-centric operations across one or more weapon system platforms (airborne or dismounted)
• Assist in establishing preliminary design and performance characteristics and engineering responsibility extending through development to final approval for production and service use
• Provide support for Cybersecurity, Mission Assurance and AT, and future program development and platform integration.
• Support IA and SSE to include the identification of critical technologies (CT), critical program information (CPI), and IA-related requirements; accomplish cyber security architecture analyses and risk assessments
• Assist in incorporating the results of these activities into applicable acquisition artifacts.
• Assist in conducting analyses of applicable weapons system platform capabilities, requirements evaluation, and optimization approaches by providing inputs on enterprise services, data, application, and information design tenets for the enterprise/specific domains and enabling an information sharing environment that supports warfighter requirements by making data visible, accessible, understandable, interoperable, and trustable.
• Provide support for the integration of the current and evolving systems into the enterprise.
• Assist in identifying, managing, mitigating, and addressing technical and program architecture risks, including interoperability analysis and risk assessment
• Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with co-workers, and customers.
• Ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior and journeyman personnel within the technical/professional discipline.
• Works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.
• Follow policies and procedures as described in corporate manuals and directives.
• Attend work each day during scheduled work hours unless on approved travel or time off.
• Perform occasional travel to contractor and customer sites, as required.
• Work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
• Carry out other duties as may be assigned or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:

• MA/MS with 10 years' of directly related experience or BA/BS with 12 years' of directly related experience or 15 years' of directly related experience to this discipline.
• Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access), Microsoft Internet Explorer, and other standard (Customer specified) applications.)
• Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required. If using your own motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
