Position: Sr. QA Manager

The Requirements To be a good fit for the Sr. QA Manager opportunity, you will have:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, business, engineering, or information technology.
- Strong technical skills and proven experience in Quality Assurance practices.
- 5-7+ years of experience in related technology industry, particularly in Quality Assurance and Control areas.
- Experience working with or in a development environment and comfortable engaging technical discussions.
- Deep understanding of how to leverage automation in testing efforts and the ability to identify tests that would be optimal candidates for automation.
- Strong knowledge of API architecture and extensive experience in testing APIs.
- Strong knowledge of UI testing.
- Ability to effectively utilize issue/defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
- A proven track record of understanding customer feedback and creating and managing Quality Assurance processes to address those needs.
- Proven strong leadership and management skills.
- Familiarity with data center or data center related business desired.
- Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver executive level communications.
- Independence, motivation, and a strong sense of ownership.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work throughout the company to ensure critical business execution.
You also will need to be willing and able to travel -- once it is safe -- 15% to 20% of the time.
To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
The Role Reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Product Management, you will be responsible for managing Quality Control processes along with respective product development life cycle. This role requires leadership, focus and the ability to manage multiple priorities within the global product management portfolio. Key responsibilities include:
- Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
- Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products and development processes.
- Communicates quality standards and parameters to appropriate teams and stakeholders.
- Coordinates testing processes across all products and development environments within scope.
- Conducts and participates in product Quality Assurance processes.
- Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
- Reviews client, customer, and user feedback.
- Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
- Updates job knowledge by studying trends in and developments in quality management; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
