The Zoll Resuscitation division is building an all new IT operations team. This team will take over IT infrastructure and Networking from various departments, and will be responsible for physical, virtual, storage, and disaster recovery. We will work to bring maturity to our infrastructure and processes.

The Senior Network Engineer will work with the team to design, configure, deploy, maintain and support our comprehensive enterprise network infrastructure. Your work will encompass supporting business infrastructure needs, regular care and maintenance of these areas, and acting as a project leader for new initiatives. You will need to ensure reliability in the network communication systems, operational compliance with business standards, and will contribute to the advancement of our infrastructure through development of supporting procedures, best practices, and road map strategy planning. You will complete your work responsibilities in tight partnership with other IT colleagues and business stakeholders while also mentoring more junior members of the technical team.

Responsibilities:
• Design, configure, deploy, maintain and support the company's enterprise network infrastructure including but not limited to Firewalls, VPN, SIEM, SD-WAN devices, Switches, Routers, Wireless, Voice gateways
• Provide support assistance for the company's 7x24x365 mission critical infrastructure systems, including on-call, change window, and unplanned emergency response
• Analyze problems, recommend solutions, products, and technologies to meet business objectives and requirements
• Actively protect our information technology assets and infrastructure from external or internal threats and ensure compliance with policies and procedures including regulatory requirements regarding information access, security and privacy
• Oversee the configuration of firewall security settings and access permissions
• Enforce policies and procedures through monitoring and auditing for potential security violations while ensuring systems are updated and patched
• Assist the end user, other IT professionals, and external customers in network and security support requests
• Recommend network and security best practices to achieve stated business objectives, advise on risk assumptions for any deviations from standards, and provide alternatives to achieve desired end results
• Assist in incident response for any breaches, intrusions, or theft
• Evaluate and perform planning, testing, and implementation of software and hardware upgrades
• Prioritizing and managing both project and daily workflow responsibilities
• Maintain system documentation and configuration data for operating, regulatory, and audit purposes
• Adhere to proper process and change management requirements
• Collaboratively work with a global IT team and partner with external vendors for support of internal, external, cloud, and hosted systems
• Coach, guide and mentor Service Desk and Desk Side Support technicians in their incident response, directing incident first responder actions, and appropriately escalating issues
• Actively protect our information technology assets and infrastructure from external or internal threats and ensure compliance with policies and procedures including regulatory requirements regarding information access, security and privacy
• Develop and produce complex documentation for network topology, and troubleshooting of hardware or software
• Maintain security, backup and redundancy strategies

Requirements
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field from an accredited institution
• Possess current Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification or equivalent level of industry certification (desired)
• 7 - 10+ years' experience of recent professional experience in Network Administration
• 3 - 5+ years professional experience with current network security protocols, hardware and software
• Previous experience with Network infrastructure design, including telephony and video
• Strong technical acumen with TCP/IP, VLANS, WANS, routing and switching (Cisco)
• Strong technical acumen with IPSEC and SSL VPN (Palo Alto)
• IDS/IPS and Syslog setup, monitoring, and management
• Ability to lead or contribute on multiple highly complex projects with final deliverable meeting requirements, on time, and within budget. Detailed-oriented approach with an ability to manage all project aspects from scoping, development, to delivery, providing regular status updates and oversight
• AWS or Azure networking experience
