Position Overview:

Our esteemed client is seeking a Senior IT Delivery Manager for their operations based in Troy, MI. This pivotal role involves senior-level management of workstreams and projects, requiring adept oversight of multiple programs and large-scale initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the smooth initiation of projects in alignment with stakeholder preferences.
• Manage project funding effectively.
• Oversee vendor relationships and financial tracking.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Proven experience in vendor management and financial oversight.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, Microsoft GitHub, and similar tools is advantageous.
• Extensive background in program management, overseeing multiple projects and project managers.
• Demonstrated ability to shepherd development projects from inception to successful implementation.
• Strong project management acumen, capable of multitasking and handling multiple projects in a cross-functional setting.
• Proficient in Agile and Waterfall methodologies for project delivery.
• Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle, encompassing requirement gathering, analysis/design, development technologies, testing methodologies, and deployment management.
• Skilled in generating comprehensive documentation for moderate-sized projects.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
• Aptitude for interpreting customer business needs and translating them into actionable requirements.
• Effective communication skills, both verbally and in technical writing, suitable for diverse organizational levels.
• Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills across all management tiers.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, balancing project responsibilities and ongoing support duties.
• Capacity to influence stakeholders outside direct control and coordinate effectively with technical managers, business managers, subject matter experts, and customers.
• Basic financial analysis skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools are advantageous.
