What we're looking for:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong intelligence and incident response background, critical and structured thinking, excellent communications skills, and a passion for applying innovative technology to the threat intelligence process.

What you'll do:

  • Functions in a mentor role to assist planning, execution, and evaluation of tabletop exercises, and other simulations
  • Creates Incident Response strategies and processes, by identifying gaps in processes, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements.
  • Identify areas for program improvement, expansion of capabilities, or other areas to help mature the overall program.
  • Provide investigation assistance and coordinate mitigation efforts during an incident.
  • Maintains a high-level of technical knowledge of platforms utilized throughout the environment
  • Respond to incidents and ensure all procedures are followed correctly to triage damage, mitigate risk to business operations, and coordinate actions and communications with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Design and engineer processes, procedures, and work instructions for all tasks related to IR and forensics.
  • Drive IR continuous improvement through KPIs, operational metrics, high quality reports to technical and executive audiences, and Tabletop exercises.
  • Advise and approve tuning recommendations within security products to reduce the number of false-positives and false-negatives.

What you need:
  • B.S. Computer and Information Systems Security or similar
  • Minimum 5 years Information Security or a combination with Intelligence experience
  • CISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certifications

  • Strong technical knowledge, ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.
  • Ability and willingness to accept responsibility, willingness to challenge established practices and draw relevant conclusions, including the persistence and willingness to take calculated risk, and to stimulate, market, and sell new ideas within the organization.
  • Excellent leadership skills to effectively lead and direct a diverse global team to achieve results through team efforts, and the desire and ability to motivate, persuade and direct the activities of others.
  • Ability to act as a managerial advisor on professional and technical issues with a view towards reaching strategic decisions; ability to manage conflicting demands for resources through negotiation.
  • Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment and/or crisis and render good decisions to resolve the problems, maintain safety and ensure adherence to Corporate Code of Conduct

Other details:
  • This position will mentor both direct and indirect employees.
  • Normal Office Environment.
  • Domestic/International travel may be required occasionally, up to 20%/year
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs, climb ladders and stairs.
