We are currently seeking Senior Financial Analyst - World Material Flow (WMF) to join our North America (NA) Logistics Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial management in support of the WMF NA operations including standard setting, pricing, budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, actuals reporting and other finance activities.

The WMF Financial Analyst is also responsible for month-end closing and reporting processes, including preparing and recording journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, preparing management reports and value-added analysis, and recommendations for improvement. You will be responsible for the accuracy and timely reporting of all internal and external reporting requirements, as well as local management reporting and policy adherence.


  • Prepare forecast, budget, and month-end reports; including walk-thru' s to explain variances.
  • Complete pricing and system updates based on information from plants, purchasing and logistics.
  • Complete standard costs roll and system updates for WMF Location.
  • Manage WMF monthly closure (related profit centers and cost centers, cost control, cost accruals)
  • Meet month-end reporting requirements, including preparing and recording specific journal entries for monthly closing.
  • Prepare reconciliations of assigned accounts. Investigate pertinent information and recommend appropriate adjustments to accounts.
  • Participate in special projects and perform ad-hoc requests.
  • Finance reference for NAR Operations, other finance department, NAR purchasing, and other business areas
  • Assist Operations teams with any additional analysis related to transportation, inventory, purchasing, on as needed basis as related to WMF operations
  • Annual Salary for this position is $63,000 to $91,000 plus annual bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 3+years relevant professional experience consolidating, analyzing and interpreting financial data.
  • Equivalency accepted for candidates with 11+ years experience with a global manufacturing Company on either manufacturing finance or logistics finance team.

Preferred Skills

  • knowledge of financial reporting systems such as SAP or Oracle/Hyperion.
