Job Summary:
Reporting to the VP of GIS, the Sr Director, Enterprise Architecture (Digital) will have global responsibility for advancing digital transformation, designing and driving the overall architecture strategy to ensure progress of our digital efforts, reference models and capabilities and their integration into targeted business ecosystems across the enterprise.

This role will define systems, strategies, and solution roadmaps from original idea to desired outcome. It applies knowledge of all IT disciplines affecting integrated processes, applications, data and technology to design solutions that positively impact the company.

Responsibilities

• Formulate EA strategy, guide execution, and facilitate innovation.
• Understand the business needs and challenges and effectively guide technology investment decisions.
• Cloud strategy - collaborate with key stakeholders, such as infrastructure & information security to create and evaluate a cloud strategy for the enterprise.
• Lead definition of adaptable, modular and reusable solution architecture designs across end-to-end customer journey, supplier partner interaction, and employee engagement in alignment with global and regional strategies.
• Drive evolution of our digital platform architecture and capabilities in collaboration with Product Owner and Delivery Lead driving consistency of adoption between regions.
• Lead implementation of appropriate digital solution architecture governance processes and tools while maintaining a key focus on design patterns and technology standards reuse.
• Maintain a repository of digital architecture assets (APIs, Services) and coordinate effective reuse across the enterprise.
• Act as an enabler of Agile and DevOps practices in collaboration with product delivery and operation support teams.
• Proactively explore, evaluate and promote technology innovation within the enterprise with a key focus on cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to build out / assemble reference materials, web sites and code samples and drive acceleration of digital transformation efforts.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Extensive knowledge and experience of leading digital architecture initiatives from blueprint to solution design and implementation.
• Experience in development of enterprise architecture methodologies and standards.
• Experience in application modularization and composition including adoption of Micro Service Architecture models.
• Experience in Integration Architectures from API Mediation to Event Bus models.
• Experience in Information Security and Risk Management.
• Experience in cloud solution design and implementation of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS and hybrid models.
• Hands on experience on Cloud technologies like Azure PaaS.
• Experience in modern UX/UI application delivery.
• Experience in delivery of large programs using mainstream programming languages.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen, instinct and understanding of products, risk appetite and niches.
• Track record of high achievement in a team-based and results-oriented culture.
• Proven track record in relationship-building and driving change in a matrixed work environment.
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with thorough attention to detail.
• Excellent planning, documentation and problem-solving skills.
• Project management ability and drive-for-results orientation.

Work Experience:

• Typically 15+ years including 10+ years of management experience.

Education and Certification(s):

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

• Master degree, preferably in computer science or related field.
