Sr. Buyer and Small Business Program Administrator
This position works within the Contracts & Business Support department staff and business unit managers to establish agreements supporting purchasing, subcontracting and consulting. This includes drafting and negotiating agreements as well as entering, extracting and analyzing data in our accounting and contracts data systems. Additionally, they will be expected to design, keep updated and produce purchase orders from the Deltek CostPoint system as well as periodic reports to support budgeting, forecasting and regulatory reporting requirements. Further, this position will be responsible for managing the company's Federal small business participation program in accordance with FAR Part 52.244-2, which includes outreach to small businesses and capturing and reporting status on use of small businesses. This position requires the ability to understand federal and commercial subcontract administration and financial information, knowledge of Deltek CostPoint, understanding of federal contracting environment, high level of organizational skills and ability to listen to internal customer needs to translate them into comprehensive and supportive subcontracts/consulting agreements/purchase orders.
