The Sr. Analyst will work with Product Insights Manager and the Product Insights team to aid in delivering fact-based consumer and customer understanding through insights that facilitate strategic and tactical decision-making for the innovation pipeline for Inspires Portfolio of Brands - focusing on QSR brands. This person will also support data analysis of internal and external sources to help inform new product decision-making. This role will represent the 'voice of the consumer' to support the Brands within the Inspire portfolio's product innovation efforts.


  • Help design and execute product insights research and analytics studies specifically related to product innovation (concept screening & concept testing, executing CLT taste tests - including occasional travel, etc.)
  • Conduct ad hoc research projects and analytics specifically related to new and menu products (TURF, Product improvement focus groups, etc.)
  • Identify and provide insights and recommendations on industry and consumer trends and competitive activities to potentially impact company strategy and business decisions
  • Assist with managing vendor relationships including scheduling, planning, and monitoring product research projects
  • Learn and develop expertise of various data sources as needed to support brands, product, or category deep-dives with support from Director of Product Insights


  • 4 year degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics/Mathematics, Communications or Social Science required
  • Master's Degree in Market Research (MMR) a plus


  • 3-4 years of experience in market research.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with primary and secondary research.
  • Experience running quantitative research projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and vendor management experience


  • A passion for solving business problems using quantitative data driven methods and information (data discovery, data visualization, and data mining)
  • Logic-driven understanding of data including consumer, competitive and business
  • Experience with survey programming tools such as Qualtrics or Decipher / Knowledge of SPSS and XML is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite (power point, word, excel)
  • Experience in creating / reading crosstabs and able to translate cross tabulated data into clear / concise reports
  • Ability to tell the story with data pulling from multiple data sources
  • Must be able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines and be detail oriented
  • Have access to internet and able to work remotely
  • Strong presence of Intellectual Curiosity
