Job Description Summary:
The Team

Network and Partnership Marketing Analytics team sits within the broader Global Marketing Analytics Team. Our analysts bring together their technical expertise, business context from stakeholders and embrace ambiguity, navigating a matrix organization. Our mission is to be a trusted partner to Marketing Organization to drive value by providing data driven insights and an objective view on Programs across segments and markets. We are accountable for end-to-end marketing analytics to enable optimization to deliver great customer marketing experiences.

The Role

PayPal is looking for a Senior Analyst to join the Network & Partnership Marketing Analytics team. The role provides exposure to Marketing Program Leads on PayPal Shopping Marketing Programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing data-driven insights on marketing programs focused on PayPal Shopping, including but not limited to the Business casing, Deep dives, Modeling, Campaign Performance readouts and optimization. The Analyst will be responsible for delivering accurate, action-driving recommendations to drive business performance and investment optimization. This is an individual contributor role with significant potential for career growth.

JobResponsibilities
  • Perform deep-dive analyses using analytical and statistical tools on very large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets
  • EngagewithMarketing stakeholders andotherinternal customers/ stakeholder teams (Marketing Ops, Product Analytics,Financeetc.). They should also be able to find applicability and actionability to their work, influencing stakeholders to make the most out of the work analytics provides
  • Supportmultiple analytical projects at a time, in a fast-paced, intense, and results-oriented environment
  • Partner withstakeholders to make business decisions in alignment with global measurement approaches
  • Liaise withextendedteam toenable knowledge sharing across the team. To drive alignment on the adoption of Tools, educating stakeholders to rely on them wheneverapplicable

JobRequirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics,Businessor a related field
  • 2-4yearsofprofessional experience in an analytical role
  • Be an independent thinker, able to work autonomously on projects with complexity both on the technical side and on the business implications side
  • Be ateam player, and share best practices, both on technical and non-technical topics
  • Capacity to influence stakeholders, maintaining the right balance of assertiveness and healthy business relationships
  • Ability to structure complex problems in simple terms
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for seeking the truth
  • Deep knowledge of statistics (Multivariate Statistics, Regression modeling, Predictive modeling, Controlled Test Design, Time-series modeling)
  • Strong technical skills: SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Qlik, Notebooks, BigQuery
