The Role: Specialist, Global Operations

The Specialist, Global Operations supports the vision and strategy execution for the Office Operations teams globally. This individual reports into the Manager, Operations to support the key business rhythms needed to ensure effective execution of OKRIs. S/he/they drive and deliver proactive and just-in-time offerings to this essential community at Slalom.

What you'll do:
  • Monitor, audit and/or ensure continuous improvement to various modes of communication for Office Operations (OO), including but not limited to: monthly newsletters, distribution lists, shared inbox and calendar, MS Teams sites, SharePoint, etc.
  • Plan, oversee, document, and educate on all aspects of the projects they are managing; host "after-action reviews" to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for coordinating and execution of Office Operations job-related onboarding and orientation (communications, scheduling, coordinating with internal teams, welcome swag, etc.)
  • Evolves the onboarding offering for Team Operations, including infusion of technology and efficiency of process, cross collaboration with partners in Global Services, offers feedback to improve facilitation for new hires in the Slalom OOs community.
  • Owns the updating of Onboarding Roadmap Template for Team Operations.
  • Convert information received into different mediums (i.e. - PowerPoint visuals, graphs, written communication, verbal presentations, etc.)
  • Manages the organizational rhythm of business (ROB) for OO program and continuously looks for opportunities to improve how we run the programs.
  • Partners with Manager, OO to identify and prioritize the working list of initiatives and cross-group collaboration opportunities.
  • Create, deliver, and/or evolve offerings and resources for all Office Operations to support the execution of best practices in this field.
  • Serve as the Co-Project Manager for the Office Operations Summit (OpsCon) Steering Committee.
  • Own special projects as needed for the Global Office Operations team.
  • Build and foster relationships across Slalom.
  • Take ownership and get things done in fast-pace environment, with ability to take direction and execute with a sense of urgency
  • Provide fresh perspective and recommendations to solve problems with sustainable solutions vs. isolated fixes.

  • You are passionate about and capable of leading multi-project initiatives, working towards a vision, monitoring the progress of each project, and interacting with stakeholders across an organization at various levels.
  • You act with scrupulous attention to detail, able to develop, and maintain highly organized work environment.
  • You develop and deliver multi-mode comms that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • 2-3 years project management experience
  • Advanced Experience with SharePoint 365, Pardot, Microsoft Excel
  • Critical and creative thinking to identify the strengths and weakness of a problem, offer alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
