Responsibilities Position works as a member of the Special Projects Team within Facilities - Building Services. Responsible for setting up campus events, performing small department relocations, washing windows and emergency restroom cleanups. Sets-up and breaks-down folding chairs, tables, risers, podiums, furnishings, equipment and/or other materials in support of educational events across the University. Performs light to heavy lifting of equipment, furnishings and materials for in-office or small office moves within buildings. Relocation of property may be accomplished with the assistance of other personnel or with the use of equipment such as flat bed dollies or hand trucks. May be responsible for lifting objects up to a minimum of 50 pounds independently. Performs restroom restoration care with the Kai-Vac and/or Reel Cleaner restroom cleaning machines, either as scheduled maintenance or as emergency support on an as needed basis. Performs window cleaning for campus buildings on a scheduled, rotating, and/or as needed basis. Performs loading, stacking, or organizing supplies and/or equipment within warehouse or storage space. Provides support on an as needed basis to the Supply Delivery Team, delivering supplies and equipment to buildings. Maintains carpeted and hardwood flooring as needed through vacuuming, mopping or other applicable methods. Dusts and/or cleans horizontal and vertical surfaces. Cleans and sanitizes water coolers and public restrooms, restocking supplies when needed. Performs other related work required to meet the needs of the University. Maintains, cleans and operates relocation vehicle as needed. Qualifications

Completion of the ninth grade.

Ability to meet physical requirements as determined by position including but not limited to lifting objects up to a minimum of 50 pounds independently. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions. Knowledge of and ability to safely operate machinery, tools, equipment, chemicals, and materials used in relocation and custodial services including but not limited to hand trucks, pallet jacks, flat dollies, various types of motorized equipment and related cleaning chemicals. Skill in safely operating various types of motorized vehicles including but not limited to pallet trucks and golf-carts. A valid Florida or Georgia driver's license or ability to obtain upon hire.
