JOBSUMMARY

Responsible for the overall supervision of the Spa Staff and owner/guest processes. Greet customers when they enter the Spa and aid/answer questions about services available in the spa/salon with the intent to book the customer to use the Spa facilities. Promote and sell Spa services and merchandise. Provide general spa orientation to guests upon arrival, such as the location and use of locker rooms, lounge areas, and hospitality stations. Check computer for updates and changes to schedule regularly throughout the day. Monitor and stick to time schedule to stay on schedule throughout the day. Confirm guest first and last name and type of treatment scheduled prior to beginning treatment.

Promote and sell spa/salon services. Display merchandise, restock items, and ticket merchandise with price or mark-downs. Follow proper inventory system to conduct and reconcile merchandise inventory. Count and verify merchandise orders upon receipt and document any shortages. Place orders for store merchandise and approve invoices, including communicating with manager/supervisor as needed. Complete customer purchases, process all payment types, and process returns, refunds, and exchanges. Maintain appropriate cash levels in cash drawer, turn in all property monies and receipts, and ensure deposits/cash drops are verified. Follow checklist for opening and closing Spa.

  • Anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
  • Process orders or transactions from customers and collect payment as necessary. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; identify, recommend, and implement new ways to increase organizational quality.
  • Reach, bend, twist, pull, and stoop; grasp, turn, and manipulate objects; move, lift, or carry objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
  • Attention to customer service with a professional and pleasant personality.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
