Position Summary:
As a Software Test Engineer, you will create solutions for automated testing of current and future embedded software on real and virtual hardware.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Contribute to an agile team by driving user story analysis and feature grooming, designing and developing thorough test scripts.
• Automate test scripts and integrate into software build process.
• Write complex API tests which interface with upstream services or databases
• Design, implement and maintain cross-platform test automation scripts
• Maintain the functional test portion of the Continuous Integration pipeline
• Develop and maintain BDD test scenarios and regression plans
• Participate in test development life cycle including requirements analysis and design
• Work with developers to research failed cases, collect additional data from testing and debug software issues
• Taking accountability of developing and executing test cases in multiple test formats like Unit, Sanity, Smoke, Integration and Regression tests in efficient turnaround times.

This position pays:91,300-132,000 ( Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering or related relevant experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as Software Test Engineer, Software Developer or Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET).
• Minimum 2 years of test script development utilizing RESTful services automation and has demonstrated solid experience in automating tests and scripting with Python.
• Experience developing Virtual Simulators, automation tools and automated test frameworks to virtualize hardware and communication protocols.
• Experience with Software Configuration Management tools like GIT, GERRIT, SVN, ClearCase. Jenkins Server polling test automation would be ideal.
• Experience in contributing to test plan development and modularize test cases based on the superset test plan.
• Experience with Integration Requirement Management and Defect Tracking tools like Polarion, Doors, Jira etc.,

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Strong analytic and debugging skills.
• Thorough understanding of QA concepts, STLC, SDLC, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with Cross-Functional teams in multi-site environment and not just single site organizational teams.
• Experience working with Android/Linux Displays, Telematics (Precision Control and GPS modules) in AG or Construction domain.
• Knowledge of Tractors, Combines, Sprayers, Tillage, Seeders, and other Agricultural equipment.
• Experience with Loop time executions, CPU Load Calculations, Memory Analyzing, Test Report Generations, Interrupt Handling and understanding of multi-Threaded RTOS and Kernel's.
• Experience working with Automotive and Truck & Off-Highway (TNOH) industry network protocols like CAN J1939, LIN or other High Speed Robust Network protocols.
