SUMMARY

Validate and debug web and/or database software solutions for customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform software validation to ensure it meets design and customer requirements.
  
• Perform regression testing on various software products per the direction of the SQA-Engineer and Scrum master
  
• Write detailed test cases during the validation process.
  
• Write and maintain regression test plans.
  
• Interface with programmers, application engineers and customers to improve software quality.
  
• Support multiple Customer Platforms.
  
• Within the position's scope, contribute to completion of departmental objectives. (technical, financial, quality)
  
• Maintain awareness of, and meet, the requirements of the Company quality system
  
• Required to observe all safety rules and regulations. Must act safely and be responsible for the safety of others around work area.
  
• Employee duties are not limited to those stated above, but are inclusive of any tasks assigned by supervisor/manager.
  Complies with Company policies, procedures, guidelines and standards.
  

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant experience in related field (Preferred)

• Work independently and take ownership and accountability of assignments
  
• Minimum 2 years of related software quality assurance validation
  
• Familiar with software testing processes and technology
  
• Software development competency
  
• Independent problem solving ability
  
• Must be able to perform basic job duties with minimum supervision
  
• Great attention to detail
  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
  
• Excellent organizational skills
  
• Excellent coding and analytical skills (Desired)
  
• Ability to communicate well with both technical and non-technical team members.
  
• Ability to focus on multiple projects (Essential)
