Position: Software Engineer III

Job Location: 860 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Duties: Review project requirements and translate requirements into technical solutions. Research and identify alternative solutions. Write and develop code. Conduct unit testing. Communicate status and issues to team members and stakeholders. Collaborate with project team and cross functional teams to identify areas of opportunity. Interpret information and identify software and technical solutions. Ensure solutions are sustainable across implementation and use troubleshooting to resolve open issues and bug-fixes. Ensure on-time delivery and hand-offs. Mentor and train new hires.

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or related field and 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.

Skills required: Experience designing and implementing REST API web services using JAVA and Spring Boot. Experience coding in object-oriented programming languages including Java and C++. Experience implementing messaging consumer and provider using messaging frameworks including Kafka and Tibco. Experience with Relational Data Base System (RDBS) Oracle MySQL with Object Relational Mapping frameworks including Hibernate and EJB3. Experience with NoSQL Database MongoDB. Experience deploying and testing in multiple application servers including Tomcat and WebLogic. Experience with continuous build and deployment using Maven, Ant, and Jenkins. Experience with version control systems including CVS and GIT. Experience building and deploying containers using Docker and Kubernetes. Experience using testing frameworks including JUnit and TestNG. Experience using logging utility log4j, log search engine Splunk, and real time monitoring tool Dynatrace. Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $197,829/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
