An Entertainment Company is seeking a Software Engineer/Functional Engineer in Seattle, WA.

Role Description

This is a junior to mid-level software development position for engineers who are comfortable assisting business partners integrating with services and also fixing bugs in their services.

• Assist business partner development teams with API and framework usage and troubleshooting
• Fix/Resolve bugs in the Shared Service software
• Create tools that improve the efficiency and success for their business partners.
• Be a subject-matter-expert on the implementation of RESTful Java services.

Skills & Requirements

• 2-5 years industry experience - Agile development; Sprint planning processes,
• Java Application Development experience or education equivalent - Java Web Frameworks: Spring
• Web Architectural Style: RESTful API development and integration\"
• Data Interchange Formats: JSON, XML - Linux/Unix - SQL Server RDBMS/SQL
• Internet technologies; HTML, HTTP, JavaScript
• HTTP Server/Servlet Container: Apache Tomcat
• Strong work ethic; i.e. self-starter, organized, know when to get help.
• Great communications skills; i.e. not afraid to ask questions, very tactful.\"
